Maria Collins gets her spread on with a sweet, simple mixture of softened cream cheese and pure maple syrup. Adjust the consistency to your liking and smear on toast or bagels, then try thinning it out to drizzle on Maria's protein-packed Whole Grain Waffles.
Makes 1 Cup
Ingredients
- 8 oz cream cheese, room temperature
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- pinch of salt
- 1-2 tbsp skim milk
How-to
- Whisk all ingredients together in a medium bowl, starting with 1 tbsp of milk, and adding more to reach your desired consistency
- Spread and serve immediately, or refrigerate to allow to firm up
- Great on toast, bagels or waffles
