We know how to grill meat, it's been done before. But what about fruit? Watermelon and peaches taste like you've never tasted them before when warm and toasty. All it takes is a grate and some heat. Then add a berry purée to sweeten the deal.
Ingredients
- watermelon, cut into large chunks
- peaches, sliced into wedges
Berry Sauce
- ½ bag frozen raspberries
- strawberries
- 1½ tsp lemon juice
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
How-to
- Add berry sauce ingredients into a blender and purée
- Cut watermelon into chunks and slice the peaches into wedges
- Heat grill on medium-low
- Place peaches skin side down on grill. Add watermelon chunks
- Close grill cover, and grill fruit on first side for 4 minutes, flip and grill the other side for about 2 minutes
- Drizzle berry purée on a plate, add fruit and drizzle more purée on top
