Try this gravy and you'll never go back to another. Rich, thick and absolutely amazing. Bea learned this recipe from her mother and has now passed it on to her children - and to you! No turkey dinner is complete without it. Oh, and it's great on mashed potatoes any time of year!
Ingredients
- drippings from pan of cooked turkey or chicken
- 3 tbsp flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup water
How-to
- In a saucepan, add drippings from the pan of a cooked turkey or chicken
- Gradually add 3 tbsp of flour and stir until the flour has dissolved
- Add 1 tsp of salt and 1 cup of water and continue to stir until desired thickness
