This tasty Passover dish is very easy to make and even easier to enjoy. Its so quick, especially if you like to "blitz" using your food processor! With a delicious combination of nuts, cinnamon, apples and wine, you'll want to make this recipe part of your family's tradition.
Ingredients
- 3 apples (Granny Smith suggested), peeled or unpeeled & chopped
- ½ cup walnuts
- ½ cup almonds
- 1½ tbsp cinnamon
- 1½ tbsp Manischewitz wine
- ½ cup raisins (optional)
How-to
- Add nuts to a food processor and pulse to half their size
- Add apples, cinnamon and wine. Scrape down sides of bowl at least once to make sure apples are incorporated and pulse to a chunky paste
- Fold in raisins if using
- Serve with crackers (Ellie recommends graham crackers) and enjoy!
