About Matthew Barros <p> Following in the footsteps of his grandfather, father and older brother in his love of cooking, Cape Verde and New Bedford native Matthew Barros is living the culinary dream. He studied at the Culinary Institute of America, preparing himself for the career he&#39;d been dreaming of for years. After working and cultivating his skills in Miami, Matthew came home to Massachusetts to be closer to his family and was fortunate to have the opportunity to work under opening Executive Chef Alison Hearn as Sous Chef for Myers+Chang, and now helms the restaurant as&nbsp; Executive Chef at <a href="http://www.myersandchang.com/">Myers+Chang</a> in Boston&#39;s South End</p>
