Michael Smolak continues the tradition of working 160 acres of farmland in North Andover, MA, a tradition started 300 years ago by his ancestors at Smolak Farms. Growing up in this bucolic setting, he learned to nurture the fields and tend to the animals. Running the farm for the last 36 years, he has added more and more reasons for families to visit the farm and learn where their food comes from. Hayrides, pumpkin picking and delicious apple cider are just three great draws. From his kind eyes and warm smile, one knows the farmer’s life is a pleasant life for Michael Smolak.
