CAMBRIDGE, MA (March 3, 2010) how2heroes, a how-to online video destination that celebrates people’s passion for food, is pleased to announce that the website will be partnering with James Beard Award winning Chef/Owner Jody Adams to produce a monthly cooking series that will be featured on how2heroes.com.

Known for her masterful creations of regional Italian cuisine incorporating local ingredients, Chef Adams has been earning accolades since her arrival on the New England restaurant scene in 1983. she has earned a number of prestigious awards including the coveted James Beard Award and the title of “Best Chef” by Boston Magazine. Jody has also published a successful cookbook, “In the Hands of a Chef: Cooking with Jody Adams of Rialto Restaurant.”

Jody’s next endeavor will be as a contestant on season two of the hit show “Top Chef Masters,” which will premiere on Bravo April 7th. The show will pit 22 world-renowned chefs against each other to compete for $100,000 to the charity of their choice.

“We have worked with Jody on some wonderful videos already that our audience has loved,” said Lynne Viera, President and CEO of how2heroes. “We both decided that we should commit to a series so both our fans and hers could look forward to new cooking videos from her every month. Jody is very warm on the camera which makes her recipes very approachable to the home cook which is right on brand with how2heroes.”

Chef Jody Adams added: “Working with how2heroes has been so much fun; we had to do a series.  I get to talk about food, ingredients, and how to put them all together—and I get to laugh.”

Jody’s current dishes on how2hereos include Parmesan & Fennel Breadsticks, Polenta w/ Spicy Baked Eggs, , , Breaking Down a Lobster, Trimming an Artichoke, Braised Chicken Thighs w/ Artichokes, Olives & Capers and Jody's Salsa Verde, and Homard Á L'Américaine (Lobster w/ Wine, Tomatoes, Garlic & Herbs) which pays tribute to Julia Child.
