Beverages » Green Juice
Susan Cabana, health counselor of Nourish Your Soul uses a juicer to create a blend of kale, romaine lettuce, cucumber, apple and lemon. Don't be put off by the color - the juice is a slightly sweet, lightly tart, refreshing beverage that is packed with vitamins and minerals. Juicing strips the fruits and vegetables of their fibers, allowing the body to absorb concentrated nutrients faster. Play around with the ingredient combinations, and add ginger for an extra zip if desired!

If you leave out fruit, you can put in some yogurt and almonds with your veg. fennel can be a nice substitution for apple too.

Is it possible to get the same nutrients from a blended salad (for example)? I'm trying to figure out if I can drink my veggies instead of eating them. I only have a blender (ninja professional). Thanks
