Barkin' Beef Biscuits
Makes 24-36 treats (depending on size)
Ingredients
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
 - 2 cups whole wheat flour
 - ¾ cup cornmeal
 - ¼ cup vegetable oil
 - 4 beef boullion cubes in 2 cups boiling water
 - flour to coat work surface
 
How-to
- Preheat oven to 300º
 - Mix flours, cornmeal and oil together in a bowl
 - Dissolve bouillon in boiling water, add mixture to other ingredients and mix thoroughly (the dough may look dense and sticky)
 - If desired at this point, you can add bacon bits, bacon drippings, shredded carrot, peanut butter, or dog’s favorite flavors
 - Transfer onto a floured surface and roll to ¼" thick. Cut into desired shapes and transfer onto cookie sheet
 - Bake for 30-45 minutes until golden brown and crisp
 - Serve for good behavior
