Taco Dip


  • 16 oz sour cream
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened (microwave for 15 seconds or let stand at room temperature until softened)
  • 1 package of taco seasoning
  • romaine or iceberg lettuce, as much as you like, chopped
  • ½ white onion, chopped
  • ½ red onion, chopped
  • 1 tomato, seeded & chopped
  • shredded cheddar cheese, as much as you like
  • tortilla chips for serving


  1. Mix first three ingredients together with a hand mixer until well mixed. Be sure that cream cheese is soft
  2. Spread mixture with spatula into a shallow platter
  3. Top dip with chopped lettuce, onions and tomato and cheese (in that order)
  4. Pack down gently with your hands and serve with tortilla chips
