"Hot Weed" Slaw

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • white balsamic vinegar to taste
  • ¼ cup buttermilk
  • celery seed to taste
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • 1 cup white cabbage, shredded
  • ¼ cup red cabbage, shredded
  • ¼ cup carrots, julienned
  • ½ cup celeriac, julienned
  • ½ cup jicama, julienned
  • ¼ cup red onion, julienned
  • garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup red jalapeno, julienned
  • ¼ cup green jalapeno, julienned
  • ¼ cup scallions, julienned
  • ¼ cup corn
  • ¼ cup cilantro

How-to

  1. Combine mayo, sour cream, vinegar and buttermilk . Season to taste with celery seed, salt, pepper and sugar
  2. In a separate bowl add all the vegetables and toss to combine. Add a small amount of dressing to the vegetables and toss until evenly coated. The slaw should be coated with the vegetable but not overly wet
  3. Season again to taste
