Grilled Shrimp with Cumin & Cilantro

  • 6 shrimp, cleaned & de-veined
  • 1 tbsp garlic, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp shallots, minced
  • pinch of toasted cumin
  • 2 tbsp cilantro, rough chopped
  • pinch of salt
  • freshly ground black pepper

How-to

  1. Heat 2 tbsp of olive oil in a pan
  2. Add sliced garlic and toast until brown. Add shallots to garlic & oil and cook them briefly
  3. In a separate bowl add shrimp, cumin, cilantro, salt and pepper
  4. Pour garlic, shallots & oil over shrimp mixture and grill shrimp 2½ minutes each side
  5. Serve over Roasted & Toasted Garlic Hummus
