Spring Rolls

Ingredients

  • ½ head of cabbage, sliced to preserve length
  • handful of white mushrooms
  • handful of carrots, sliced
  • handful of bamboo shoots, sliced
  • handful of wood ear fungus, chopped
  • 3 spring roll skins
  • 1 tsp salt
  • pinch of pepper powder
  • ½ tsp ginger powder
  • ½ tsp chicken broth powder
  • pinch of 5-spice powder
  • ½ tsp sesame oil

How-to

  1. Heat oil to 350º
  2. Combine vegetables, seasonings and sesame oil and place on one end of the wrapper
  3. Role up and fold in ends
  4. Fry until goden brown, about 8-10 minutes
  5. Serve with duck sauce or hot mustard
