Fudge Pops

Makes 6-8


  • ½ cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 3 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3 cups fat free evaporated milk
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt

Special Equipment

  • ice pop molds


  1. In a small saucepan, whisk together sugar, cornstarch, cocoa
  2. Stir in evaporated milk
  3. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently until mixture comes to a simmer, then stir constantly for another minute or until it begins to thicken
  4. Stir in vanilla
  5. Let sit until pan is cool to the touch, then pour liquid into a measuring cup so it's easier to pour into molds. Freeze until firm, at least 4 hours
