Chocolate Fondue
Serves 2
Ingredients
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup good quality chocolate of your choice, chopped
Optional Ingredients
- small amounts of espresso, peanut butter or favorite liqueur - be careful not to add to much, so that it will not interfere with equal parts heavy cream & chocolate
How-to
- Have chopped chocolate ready in a stainless steel bowl
- Bring 1 cup of heavy cream to a simmer, then pour over chocolate and let sit 3-5 minutes
- Stir gently while spinning the bowl until the mixture is a creamy texture
- Pour into ramekins fitted into a heat source (water or candle)
- Serve with cubed pound cake and fresh fruit
