Lavender Lemonade

Serves 6


  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 5 tbsp dried lavender, or 4 tbsp fresh lavender
  • juice of 5 lemons
  • 2½ cups water
  • ice for serving


Make Lavender Simple Syrup

  1. Bring sugar and 1 cup water to a boil over high heat in a small saucepan
  2. Add lavender buds and boil 1 minute
  3. Remove from heat and let sit to steep at least one hour, up to overnight
  4. Pass through a fine-mesh strainer to remove the buds

Make Lemonade

  1. Add lemon juice to a pitcher and add strained simple syrup
  2. Stir in 2½ cups of water, fill with ice and serve!

Note: If not serving immediately, wait to fill with ice until you are ready to enjoy it
