Canadian Clubhouse Punch

Serves 12


  • thin peel of 2 oranges
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 6 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 2½ cups orange juice
  • 2 tsp orange extract
  • 4 oz blackberry brandy or liqueur
  • 1 bottle (750 ml) Canadian Club Whisky
  • block of ice
  • 1 orange, halved & sliced


  1. Freeze a block of ice overnight for the punch bowl (inside a large tupperware bowl works best)
  2. In a large punch bowl, mash orange peels and sugar. Add orange juice and lemon juice and stir until sugar dissolves
  3. Add orange extract, liqueur or brandy and whisky. Stir to combine. Cover and refrigerate for 2-4 hours, or overnight
  4. Take punch out of refrigerator and remove orange peels with a slotted spoon. Place block of ice in a punch bowl and float orange slices, or garnish each punch cup with a slice
